LGHS CFALA and NHS Reading Impact Project

The LGHS Chic-Fil-A Leader Academy and the LGHS National Honor Society hosted a Literacy Festival the Friday before spring break for the UGE 3rd grade students. The high school students created engaging experiences centered around reading comprehension and critical thinking, with students reading books and responding to questions aligned to the GA Milestones.

The event also featured a variety of fun, literacy-connected stations including vocabulary match-up games, face painting, salsa dancing, and racing activities. It was a great opportunity for our students to build confidence in their reading skills while enjoying a day full of energy, creativity, and connection.
