Unity Grove Reading Bowl Team
The latest Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl took place at McDonough Middle School, Saturday, January 21, 2023. Reading Bowl teams from schools around the county competed against each other on basic comprehension questions from the Georgia Book Award nominee list. Our UGE team performed well and came very close to having points for a place this year. Click HERE for information about this event.
UGE Requirements:
We have a team of at least 5 students and no more than 10. If our team has more than 5 students, each team member is only guaranteed ONE round during the competition. Spots will be determined based on performance noted during practices, in addition to the number of completed books each student has read.
A comprehensive set of questions will be available as read only for students to study in a Google Classrooms set up for our team once the media specialists create the questions and send them out to all teams. Generic questions are also available on Quizlet for students to access any time they wish.
