Mrs. Nicole Spence, Assistant Principal

Hello Unity Grove Elementary! 

My name is Nicole Spence and I am honored to introduce myself as the newest Assistant Principal at Unity Grove Elementary.  I am extremely excited to serve our students, staff, and community we have here!  

At Unity Grove, I look forward to working alongside Dr. Durden and Assistant Principals Mrs. Cockfield and Mr. Scott, as well as our incredible teachers and the wider community to continue the rich tradition of creating a welcoming, nurturing, and high-achieving environment. I believe the collaboration between school, home, and community are the keys to our students' success. 

Education has always been my calling, which has turned into my passion.  My leadership philosophy is centered on collaboration, unity, and continuous learning.  I have 13 years of experience in education and currently hold my Masters Degree, Leadership Endorsement, and my Tier 1 certification.  

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  My husband Jonathon and I have been married for almost 10 years and we have three boys who keep us extremely busy with school, baseball, water sports, and anything else they find thrilling and exciting.  We also have two dogs Bella and Chloe.
