Dear Unity Grove Elementary School Community,

Welcome to Unity Grove Elementary, where Unity Makes Us Great!
It is my pleasure to welcome both returning and new families to another exciting school
year at UGE. I am incredibly grateful to serve such a supportive school community and
look forward to partnering with you as we help every student grow, learn, and thrive.
This year marks my ninth in school administration, having served as an assistant
principal for three years and as a principal for the past six years. I am especially proud
that six of those years have been spent right here at Unity Grove Elementary. As a
proud product of Henry County Schools, I understand the impact that dedicated
educators and strong school communities can have on a child’s future. My passion for
education is rooted in the belief that every student deserves a safe, supportive, and
engaging learning environment where they are challenged to reach their fullest
potential.

My husband, Alex, and I have been married for almost eighteen years. Together, we are
raising three wonderful children: Audree (17), Eliott (12), and Emerson (10). Our family
stays busy with school activities, sports, performances, and all the adventures that come
with raising growing children. We are also kept on our toes by our three dogs, Darcy,
Charlie, and Stevie.

This year, our theme is "UGE: Where Bright Futures Take Flight." It serves as a
reminder that every child who walks through our doors has unlimited potential. Just as
every successful flight requires preparation, teamwork, and determination, we know that
students achieve their greatest success when schools and families work together. We
look forward to partnering with you as we help our students grow, learn, and soar to
new heights.
