Focus: ON - Promoting Distraction-Free Learning Environments
Beginning for the 2025-2026 school year, HCS students in grades K-12 are not permitted to display or use a cell phone, smartwatch, or other electronic communication device on school property during the school day.
STEM for All
HCS is cultivating a dynamic learning environment that includes offering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) educational opportunities across all grades.
Pre-K Registration
Henry County Schools' application window to enter the Pre-K Lottery for school year 2026-2027 will be open Jan. 26 - Feb. 6, 2026.

Unity Grove Excellence
Unity Grove Elementary proudly recognizes Mrs. Jenny Glass as the 2025 Teacher of the Year and Mrs. Angela Battle as the 2025 Exceptional Support Person of the Year for their dedication, passion, and outstanding contributions to our school.
Our vision is to sustain academic-emotional growth by embracing a mindset of innovation and equitable expectations.
We believe in a dynamic learning environment supported by data driven decision-making that involves teachers, students, and parents. Meet our School Council.
Agricultureal Education at UGE: Our campus gardens grow a mix of flowers and edible fruits and vegetables. We also house Fern and Clyde, our resident goat and pig and have recently added a chicken coop.
UGE offers many afterschool clubs such as Art Club, Choir, Farm Foodies, Picture Bowl, Reading Bowl, STEM Club, and Soccer Club.
